Doc. Patrycja Manikowska
I am a graduate of the Medical University of Gdańsk, where I gained a solid foundation of medical knowledge and practical skills. Since 2018, after obtaining the Right to Practice the Profession, I have been pursuing my passion as a doctor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System. I work daily at the Orthopaedics Department of the 7th Navy Hospital in Gdańsk, where I deal with both diagnostics and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
I am constantly developing my competences by participating in numerous internships, training courses and scientific conferences, such as the Academy of Hand Surgery, the Congress of the Polish Arthroscopic Society or the Wierzejewski Hip Joint Symposium. I am also a member of the Polish Arthroscopic Society, which allows me to keep up to date with the latest achievements in orthopaedics.
When working with patients, I place great emphasis on the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, believing that conscious lifestyle changes can significantly affect health. I believe that the key to effective treatment lies in the partnership between the doctor and the patient.
My experience in trauma surgery, gained during shifts in hospital emergency departments, allows me to better understand the needs of patients in emergencies.
I invite both adults and children to consult.
