dr hab. n. med. Jarosław Dulski
Dr. Hab. n. med. Jarosław Dulski is an experienced clinician neurologist and scientist, specializing in Parkinson’s disease and other parkinsonisms, tremor, ataxia, dystonia, spasticity, tics, dementia, chorea, restless legs syndrome, and other neurological disorders from the neurodegenerative and movement disorders group. He has many years of experience in the use of advanced therapies such as deep brain stimulation (DBS), botulinum toxin treatment (including ultrasound-guided), and infusion therapies with levodopa and apomorphine. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk, then postgraduate clinical and scientific training, including two years at the Mayo Clinic in Florida in the United States and shorter ones at the Medical University of Innsbruck in Austria, the Central University Hospital in Grenoble in France and the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London in the United Kingdom. He is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed publications.
In 2021, he was awarded the J. Babiński Scientific Award by the Main Board of the Polish Neurological Society for the best original work published in 2017-2021. In 2024, he received the Scientific Award of the Presidents of the Polish Neurological Society for scientific achievements in 2021-2024 and was a laureate of the 19th edition of the competition for scholarships of the Minister of Science for outstanding young scientists. He is also a scholarship holder of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Polish Neurological Society, the Medical University of Gdańsk, the Haworth Family Professorship in Neurodegenerative Diseases Fund and the European Academy of Neurology.
