Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a branch of medicine that aims to restore, maintain and improve movement and body function. Physiotherapists use a variety of techniques, exercises and therapeutic methods to assist patients in treating injuries, musculoskeletal, neurological and other conditions. They focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. They individualize therapies, taking into account the patient’s unique needs. Physiotherapy can be used both prophylactically and in rehabilitation after surgeries or accidents. It works holistically, integrating psychosocial and physical aspects to support patients in returning to full function and improving quality of life.

02

During the consultation, a doctor will ask you about the reason of your visit, your health condition and any other circumstances that may affect it. Remember that the information you provide will significantly affect the therapy provided.

03

If necessary, the doctor may refer the necessary tests which will be helpful to decide what is the best individual treatment for you.

At our clinic, each patient has an assigned caregiver who is supportive and ready to help you whenever you need it.

Rehabilitation and orthopedic physiotherapy Gdańsk

Do you suffer from spine discomfort? Are you experiencing pain in your knees or shoulders? Perhaps you have suffered an injury during your daily activities?
A lifestyle that is characterized by a lot of time spent sitting and inactivity contributes to an increasing number of people feeling discomfort while performing everyday activities. Untreated pain can make the problem worse or cause discomfort in other areas of the body. If pain, discomfort or mobility problems affect you or someone close to you, don’t wait – get rid of the problem using the services of our specialists.

OUR SERVICES

Our specialization includes the rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic problems. We offer comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients after injuries, surgical procedures and for people with chronic diseases. As part of the therapy, we use modern treatment methods that speed up recovery and minimize the risk of recurrence of problems.

We provide support in returning to full fitness after injuries and surgeries. Our rehabilitation programs are tailored to the individual needs of patients and include a variety of therapeutic techniques. We help in treating pain, improving joint mobility and strengthening muscles.

Our offer is also addressed to athletes, both professionals and amateurs. We help in the treatment of sports injuries and in the prevention of injuries. Our therapies support the regeneration of the body, improve performance and speed up the return to training.

We use manual techniques and soft tissue therapy to relieve pain and improve motor function. Manual therapy is particularly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and dry needling techniques are effective in treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders. PNF improves coordination and muscle strengthening, while dry needling reduces pain and muscle tension.

  • Movement therapy

Individually tailored exercise programs help to improve muscle strength, flexibility and coordination. Regular physiotherapy exercises contribute to improving overall health and prevent the recurrence of injuries.

Support in returning to full mobility through rehabilitation

In our daily work, we help our patients forget about pain and difficulties in moving. Through the rehabilitation process, we strive to restore full fitness and health after injuries, surgical interventions or neurological diseases. We also help in eliminating posture defects and pain related to a sedentary lifestyle. Especially recently, due to the widespread use of remote work and lack of exercise, people in need of spine rehabilitation come to our facility.

Patient education during rehabilitation

We attach great importance to the education of our patients, teaching them how to maintain correct posture every day and how to prepare for physical activity to avoid injuries and overloads.

Changing movement patterns

Our work with the patient in the rehabilitation office is the first step in improving his or her fitness. To achieve successful therapy and consolidate its effects, we help our patients change their movement patterns. We are aware that no one is just a “sick arm” or a “sore back”. Our body consists of many elements, the proper functioning of which requires sustainable rehabilitation.

Various forms of rehabilitation therapy

Every day we expose ourselves to overload caused by incorrect posture, a sedentary lifestyle, or on the contrary – excessive and strenuous physical exercise. That’s why our offer includes various forms of therapy. We rehabilitate patients, among others: with post-traumatic and overload pain in the spine, after knee or ankle injuries, with the so-called runner’s knee. We help in the treatment of degeneration of the hip joint, rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist.

A team of specialists in various fields

We approach each of our patients individually, each case is different for us. We work as a team of specialists in various fields, we use modern physiotherapy methods (including the FDM method, Mulligan method, clavipressure, trigger point therapy). We often combine therapy with appropriately selected training and suggest to patients what exercises they should perform. We are convinced that the guarantee of successful therapy is the involvement of the patient at every stage of rehabilitation.

We pass on knowledge to patients

Therapy is only part of the process. That is why we do not leave our patients without support, we provide them with comprehensive knowledge about their disease and describe in detail the next stages of treatment. Each patient leaves our office with specific recommendations and tips to prevent recurrence of ailments and improve their health.

Facial aesthetic osteopathy, on the other hand, I can help with, among other things:

    Komu może pomóc fizjoterapeuta?

Fizjoterapia jest dla każdego, bez względu na wiek, ponieważ fizjoterapeuta może pomóc zarówno w przywróceniu sprawności, jak również w poprawie wydolności, czy kondycji.

Kiedy należy zgłosić się do fizjoterapeuty?

Niepokojące objawy i dolegliwości zawsze warto skonsultować z fizjoterapeutą.
