PNF physiotherapy
PNF physiotherapy (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) is a rehabilitation method created for the physiotherapy of neurological diseases, especially cerebral palsy. Currently, it is also used in various types of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The aim of the PNF method is to make it easier for the patient to perform everyday activities and achieve the greatest possible independence.
The therapist stimulates the movement and position receptors of the body, thanks to which it is possible to create a new movement pattern and gradually restore fitness.
